Lucy

"So who best to tell the story! Then Richie himself!"

Then mom left and a while later she was back with a black notebook.

"Richie's diary! I found it one day in the playground."

"My diary!" Mr. Dawson said shocked.

Then I think I heard Eli's mom growled! Maybe I was just imagining things! So mom begin to read the story.

Richie

Entry one:

Dear diary,

Science week is coming! I hope that the new girl in class and me get pair up! She is so cool! Her name is Lucille! But she likes to be called Lucy! She says one day she wants to be a scientist and be the first to make a discovery that will astound the scientific world!
She has already capture me! If I only had the courage to tell her how much I like her! And her ideas they are so cool!!!!
I can't wait to go to school tomorrow! Just thinking that she will be in school, I wish the school day would never end!

Is it some puzzle?
Lucy was young and immortal before she met Eli?
He is looking at me, silently, expectantly, in the near-dark room, neither smiling nor frowning; gaunt as a Belsen child, proud as the Devil, distant and beautiful as a star. [DMt.]

Entry two:

Science week is coming! I hope I get pair up with Lucy! All the kids from the class are scared of her ideas. But to me they are out of this world! I manage to finally talk to her at recess!
"Hi."
"Hello."
She even knew my name!
"Is Richie right?"
"Yeah."
Well mostly everyone calls me Richard but I don't mind at all! Richie it will be!

Entry three:

Yes I get to be pair up with Lucy! Her idea is brilliant!
"A tasty cured for vampires!"
But the class doesn't see that!
"Lucy you know there is no such thing as vampires."
Everyone in the class had eaten the chocolate cookies Lucy had cooked.
"But they do exist! One day I will create a tasty cure for vampires! You will see!"
Sam won the contest though with his volcano. But Lucy is so determined!
"I know you will one day Lucy!"
"Thanks Richie! You are the best!"

Coming up Richie's rival
