Yeah... Chocolate should be assigned as a cure for every desease.
And if it doesn't help, then - bloodletting.
He is looking at me, silently, expectantly, in the near-dark room, neither smiling nor frowning; gaunt as a Belsen child, proud as the Devil, distant and beautiful as a star. [DMt.]

Interruption 1:

"I can't believe it!"
"That's a cool cure!"
"And all we got was an injection!"
Mr. Dawson try to calm down Eli and Oskar.
"Kids calm down...."
"How could you Richard....."
"All those days in the lab, getting injection after injection..."
"When we could have gotten a tasty cure all along...."

"So anyways let me continue with the reading.."

So mom continued to read Mr. Dawson's diary!

And the cure wasn't even one of Eli's peanut butter cookies! Grrrr!

Just wait until the cookie wars come along.
Peanut butter cookies vs. Chocolate chip cookies.
Who will win? :o

Entry four

The Rival

The first school dance! I bought the tickets, I got my black suit ready! Now all I need to ask is Lucy!
So while at recess I approach her! I ask her before anyone has a chance!
"Lucy do you want to go to the school dance with me?"
"Sure Richie, but you must know..."
"What?"
"There is another boy that likes me."
A rival? I had a rival!
"Who who is it!"
I had to know! I would challenge him to a duel!
"Well I don't think you can't. He is well from another dimension!"
What did Lucy mean? Was he from another school? But as hard as I try Lucy wouldn't tell me who he was. Once she begin talking about her experiments it was hard to get her to pay attention.
"He has a strange name. It starts with an S. What did he say his name was again? Well It turns out in one of my experiments I discover a fourth dimension! yes, yes,...I made another discovery!."
"Lucy.... can...."
"Can't you see Richie one day I will be a famous scientist!"

"What happens next?"
"Sorry looks like some pages are missing, but I will go and find them."
So mom when running to find Mr. Dawson's lost pages from his diary.
"What do we do now?" Oskar ask.
I had an idea! I took out my secret diary!
"Here I will read from my diary while we wait for my mom!"

Lucy's hidden diary entries that not even Oskar and Eli know about!

Entry one

Halloween lessons

Since we had the temporary cure we were going to go trick or treating! Though it had been a while since I had gone to a Halloween party.
It was me and Oskar in the classroom and Eli was the teacher.

She wrote on the chalkboard:

Trick or treat?

What do you answer?

That was a tough question. What was the answer?

I'm having fun today reading this! It is so quick to move through the pages. The commotion and confusion between Lucy, Oskar and Eli (and Oscar) is much like a Gilbert & Sullivan opera.
