Okay. Looks like a unique idea for a film.

I wonder when it'll be available in a form accessible to people who live in areas where all the movie theatres are closed for the foreseeable future.

Good question, sauvin. But the feeling of renewal and possibilities will perhaps bouy me for now.

It's $19.99 to rent from Amazon (too pricey for an unknown quality movie)
I don't think Netflix has it yet
It was released on the big screen yesterday in Taiwan, so I'm sure various torrent sites will have version of it soon

The reviews on Amazon so far are not kind.

The trailer seems to cast the tone that it doesn't take itself too, too seriously. (I suppose a case could be made that Chloë's accent confirms this.) If this is so, I could enjoy this film. I will probably look it up the next I am looking for something to stream.
...the story derives a lot of its appeal from its sense of despair and a darkness in which the love of Eli and Oskar seems to shine with a strange and disturbing light.
