This actually turned out to be a figment of the imagination of the researcher in question. The matter has even turned out to generate a minor scientific row in editorials and culture pages of some of the major newspapers in Sweden, regarding over-use of what's commonly called "identity policy".

Durn. Looked like Arabic to me. Maybe it's like Father Sarducci's "find the face of the Pope in a pizza."
