I am completely out of touch this year. I wanted to see "Arrival" but never got around to it. I plan on watching "Hidden Figures" if I can find the time.

Absolutely free
From thoughts and emotions,
Even the tiger finds no room
To insert its fierce claws.

Also out of touch with almost all of these and want to see Arrival. I'll try and watch Hell and High Water and Kubo.

I'll break open the story and tell you what is there. Then, like the others that have fallen out onto the sand, I will finish with it, and the wind will take it away.

Arrival was very low key, but good. It was clear that there was a struggle to fill in a full length movie with a story line that was enough for a first rate episode of The Outer Limits. Otherwise it was an interesting take on "Aliens from Outer Space" genre. Good special effects and believable acting was a plus in a tale such as this one. It's definitely worth a look.

Saw "La La Land", "Arrival", "Hell or High Water", "Hacksaw Ridge" and "Manchester By The Sea", but I think "Silence" should be nominated for best picture, it's a refreshing masterpiece from Martin Scorsese. :)

I think the nominated films have something for everyone (but me).

Sry. Not going to watch an awards show about shows that looked so boring I never watched. Just another reason for celebrities to pat each other on the back and think their opinions matter in the real world.
