Re: Wintertime Hobbies
Here's something kind of fun. It's an old cast iron doorstop or mantel piece shaped like a London mail coach. It has a small red light bulb that mounts on the inside. I'm having it media blasted to remove all the old paint, and then I'll repaint it and put some sort of lamp shade material in the windows.

Re: Wintertime Hobbies
Do you have a spot picked out for it?
I'll break open the story and tell you what is there. Then, like the others that have fallen out onto the sand, I will finish with it, and the wind will take it away.

Re: Wintertime Hobbies
Nicely done! That looks really sharp.
I did a 1:72 scale F-16 once, doing a similar job with the taping and spray paint.
It takes a good level of concentration to lay out the tape, make sure its secure and in the right spot, and then doing the spray applications.
How are you doing the underside? Is there is similar camo configuration?
