About like maintaining a new one. On the other hand, restoring a Mercedes is astronomical, something I was loath to get into. When I would run across older models that could be brought back to life, I would look into my empty purse and move on.
But my 220S gave me little trouble, so we just tooled along smiling.

Sweet ride Don.Nice to cruise in a car like that.A friend of mine has a 1982 porsche 928.It was relatively cheap (10k) but the parts are very expensive and there's lots of work to be done.Just the brakes are going to cost him nearly as much as the whole car.
