Re: "Stranger Things"
Telltale’s closure is a tragedy, if not for the (often pretty alright) stories they told then for the many workers who have lost their jobs. Here’s hoping that as many of them land on their feet as possible.

Re: "Stranger Things"
There's a bit more here, from Oct 7th: Skybound Games will finish the final season of Telltale’s The Walking Dead , that they will try resuming things with the prior team. Yet no mention of anything except funding The Walking Dead episode.

... released 9 December. Gee, giving themselves an entire day to shoot for.
Re: "Stranger Things"
Wonder why they delayed this so long. I hope it was so they could find better writers. Maybe they should have recruited some from our FF threads...

Good FX though.

Re: "Stranger Things"
The development and release speed of the show's series is critical to its continued success. Not because of losing the audience's interest but because of the natural maturation they're racing against. In the first season, the kids were at the young age where innocence stands out. In looking at this trailer for Season 3, you can see how much they have grown up. That which was cute & innocent is gone. It is the same as how we compare the pre-adolescent innocence of Eli & Oskar against the suspicious intentions of Abby with Owen. There's a change in the vibe; this is true for both LTROI in comparison to LMI and for ST's Season 1 in comparison to Season 3. The age difference between E&O to A&O are but a year or two, but it makes a very big difference in our interpretations and what we infer in watching their gestures, words, body language and such. Same will apply to ST's gang of young protagonists. In my view there is no doubt Season 2 was weaker than the first; it almost cannot be helped. Yet the story's handlers dealt well with the maturation of their young players. The challenge only increases for them with this latest. I'm curious to see how well it goes.
Yes, we should lend them our FF writing crew.

They put more than an accent on scary in this new trailer for season 3
Re: "Stranger Things"
Well, let's hope the Duffer brothers have come up with a more imaginative script this time. But I have my doubts.
