I wonder if there were two mischief-makers giggling to each other in the trees nearby to this wrong-way switch.

Hans Alfredson, father of LtROI director Tomas Alfredson, passed away today at the age of 86.

Everybody knew Hans Alfredson, I would say, in Sweden at least. He was a comedian, a writer, a film director, an actor, and more. There are obituaries in all Swedish media, Swedish public radio has already sent a long program remembering him, and I'm sure there will be more of the kind.

An example: Dagens Nyheter (in Swedish).

I just received my Swedish identity number in the mail today. Living in Sweden was definitely not something I thought was in the cards five years ago, but I guess you never know where life will take you. The past few weeks have honestly been pretty amazing.

If anyone here knows what the most fun things to do in Skåne are, let me know! I'm excited to start exploring! :D

The polar night has begun in the northernmost corner of Sweden. The sun will stay below the horizon until January...

It's time to make lussekatter, i.e. Swedish saffron buns.

Here's a nice video of a dad and his kids making some. Well, the video actually is about him making a scraper, but in the end we see him using it while making the saffron buns.
Fast forward to the baking: https://youtu.be/yizV6f0eFK8?t=702

His attention to detail from beginning to end is very ... relaxing somehow. Enjoyed it thoroughly.
