Visiting Blackeberg is also still on the bucket list. I've never made it past Göteborg as of yet. Once I earned myself a permanent stay up here, I will finally be able to make that darn day trip to Stockholm.
I cannot blame him, I am too, I hate my picture be taken.

Swedish Meatballs are Really Turkish According to Sweden
n a declaration that has shocked the country's culinary aficionados, Sweden's official Twitter account has suggested the dish may have originated in Turkey.
"Swedish meatballs are actually based on a recipe King Charles XII brought home from Turkey in the early 18th century," the tweet said.

It's time to make "pepparkakor" (ginger bread).

I was not expecting such a detailed showing of how to create the cutouts. I, for one, have no idea where I would find such aluminum strips. And I do not have half the tools he has. Yet I watched and took notes. I do wish, though, he had shown more detail on how he created the rounded head so well for the second cutter. I am sure he used the anvil horn, yet I wanted to see how he crafted the turn so well.

As for the recipe, this varies from the one I have. I will give this a try.

Anyone else here do Holiday baking?
