Libraries coming along. Had fun with the windows. Trajan's column would have been in the middle of the plaza between the libraries. The libraries were thought to have balconies so people could see the spiral frieze better, so I added those.

Couple of cool things about Trajan's Column... it was built with a spiral staircase inside. Each drum of marble had to have the stairs cut into it so they fit precisely together. Trajan's and his wife's ashes were placed inside the base, which was a bit unusual because traditionally, people were always buried outside the city. The height of the column (30 m.) was about has high as the amount of earth they had to remove to build it. I guess it paid to have lots of slaves back in the day, before Caterpillar came along.

I see your point. The keystone arch was critical for most of our grand European architecture. Still, you've done a good job of suggesting arches.
