The Revenant. (Hope Leo wins the oscar.)
Black Mass. (Looks like it could be Depp's best performance.)
The Hateful Eight. (Tarantino's next western.)

Don't know if this one has been mentioned -- the Danish film When Animals Dream. I hope you don't have to be a subscriber to The New York Times to see this review (which mentions LTROI):

Nar Dyrene Drommer is a very good film with some wonderful practical effects and a real atmosphere of foreboding. Sonia Suhl and Lars Mikkelsen are excellent in this. I have only one issue with the film, and that is that the outward lycanthrope appearance of Marie towards the end of the film is too feminine for me. I don't know why, and there is no logical reason for the way I feel about it but ... it just bugs me. Of course, others will see it differently.

I would definitely recommend this film to others.

No subscription needed to see the article :D

Yes, I want to see this one, with my New England ancestors.

Reminds me of H.P. Lovecraft "The Colour out of Space."

I'll break open the story and tell you what is there. Then, like the others that have fallen out onto the sand, I will finish with it, and the wind will take it away.

Now this looks interesting.... a mix between "Hocus Pocus" and "The Crucible"
