Haruki Murakami, "Cream." I'm a fan, but this short story was a bust. Much ado about nothing.

Reading The Queen's Tiara (Drottningens Juvelsmycke). Oskar found it while looking for a Christmas gift for Eli. (Er, that happens in a fan fiction.)

Middlesex (Jeffrey Eugenides)
The Ice Storm (Rick Moody)
South of the Border, West of the Sun (Haruki Murakami)
and LTROI
It was funny, when I read The Hobbit last year and then I watched LTROI again. Well, I've read Tolkien in the Credits before, but I didn't know where or when.

Done. One comes away enchanted by Azouras Lazuli Tintomara--just as did all who crossed his/her path in the novel. As for the writing, it has the complex plot and the attractive (or repulsive) characters of
The Three Musketeers. Alas, however, Carl Jonas Love Almqvist is not Alexandre Dumas.
