Under the Skin. Santa may bring me a copy of the novel this Christmas.

I'll break open the story and tell you what is there. Then, like the others that have fallen out onto the sand, I will finish with it, and the wind will take it away.

Just remember....Once you read that remarkable novel, you'll immediately forget the middling movie based on it.

Wind River, reminded me a little of The Proposition because of the Nick Cave, Warren Ellis music and certain scenes. A different pIot but I guess this is a family tragedy like the Australian film.

Thor: Ragnorok. Fun movie.

Ballet Mecanique. 16 minute experimental film from 1924. You can watch on Youtube.

Fun action flick starring Kim Ok Bin (from Thirst).

On episode three of Alias Grace, another fine product of Canada on Netflix.

I'll break open the story and tell you what is there. Then, like the others that have fallen out onto the sand, I will finish with it, and the wind will take it away.

Marathoned Tin Star.

Great story, violence, murder, great scenery, Tim Roth being Tim Roth ... what more could you want?

Such a hard film to watch. Very emotional and believable performances by Clive Owen and Liana Liberato. And that final scene before the fade to black ... chilling.
