I've had my iPhone on Shuffle all day. What I can recall hearing (in no particular order):

Hmm... only one thing even close to metal in there. And all but one over 10 years old. Maybe I'll have to tweak my play list. I wish the iTunes shuffle routine would weight its randomness by a track's rating.

If you think that was intense, you should once listen to their recent album... Anaal Nathrakh are not determined one of the most violent bands in the world for no reason

They're from Birmingham btw., as are their grindpunk counterpart Napalm Death.

I went through a grindcore phase in the late 80's and early 90's - they all came from Birmingham, Naplam Death, Carcass, Godflesh - must have been something in the water.
