Laleh--Wow. What pipes, what heart and soul.

I personally prefer the studio version of that one:

It's not one of my favorites, but I find myself coming back to it every now and then.
De höll om varandra i tystnad. Oskar blundade och visste: detta var det största. Ljuset från lyktan i portvalvet trängde svagt in genom hans slutna ögonlock, la en hinna av rött för hans ögon. Det största.

Ekaterina Shelehova on Italy Got Talent. Very enchanting piece she sings here. I love this, it resonates with me.

Ack Värmeland du sköna (Oh, Värmland you beautiful), a Swedish traditional in a somewhat unconventional rendition:
By the way, Karlstad is situated in Värmland, the province the song is about.

Happy holidays, everyone.
The following is a rendition of the main theme from Sagan om Karl-Bertil Jonssons julafton, an animated short broadcast on SVT every December 24th as part of the traditional Christmas Eve programming. The film and its music is one of the highlights of Christmas for me, since it always manages to make me feel calm and at peace no matter how stressful the rest of life can be.
