paraskevidekatriaphobia — fear of Friday the 13th

I have a new patient this morning coming in for consultations on what he fears is a developing sense of paraskevidekatriaphobia. Any suggestions?

Background: Across and into the late 1970s, he had risen to the top of the police force in Angby and Vällingby . As of the early 1980s he had become poliskommissarie/ police commissioner / for the Vällingby area. He has of course retired since then, but still cannot shake off a string of events that occurred in Blackeberg across October and into November back in 1981. It all came to a sudden, dreadful end on a Thursday, Nov 12th, and intense investigation and fruitless manhunt the following day, Friday, Nov 13th.

Suggestions?

Medically induced coma? Useful to skip entire days, on demand.

An international agreement to switch Friday with Saturday as needed, Like daylight savings time but even more moronic.
Pogo: "Friday the 13th came on Saturday this month."
