Re: My fifteen minutes of fame????
Maybe he was trying to get a job as a photographer for National Enquirer?? After all, the National Enquirer has been predicting the death of Queen Elizabeth for at least the last 40 years. I do believe they could use some younger blood.OUTSIDER wrote:Maybe the kid thought you went to Yale University.

My fifteen minutes of fame????
Andy Warhol supposedly said that "in the future, everyone will be famous for fifteen minutes." Today, I may finally have achieved mine. Several years ago, I had mentioned on the forum that I had acquired a personalized license plate that said "TEAM ELI". So far, no one has been able to guess correct...

Re: Lina in a new theatre production of "The Wild Duck"
Glad to see that Lina will be acting at Dramaten. Dramaten is considered "THE" place to be for an actor. But those of us who don't have access to Swedish theatre and film are still somewhat disappointed that nothing she has done since LTROI has been able to see the light of day outside of Europe. Ho...

[quote="metoo"]Maybe we should mention that Dramaten isn't just any theatre, but in many ways the theatre in Sweden.[/quote
I do believe Ingmar Bergman would certainly have agreed passionately with that statement.

Re: Book edition
I read this recently in the Kindle edition. There were some similarities and some differences. But having read scripts for other movies in the past, it seems that the movie (or in this case, the play) is usually better than the script. I would really like to see the play. Maybe some day it will be p...
