How baseball is religion. Very Taiwanese production. Heard it has been banned in China because it highlights the superior Japanese contribution towards Taiwan.

Re: Last DVD/Movie you bought or watched?
Frozen I would rank it as Disney's most progressive animation to date. http://static3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20131002122860/disney/images/5/58/Frozen-movie-poster.jpg My daughters enjoyed it. No weak princesses. Strong female protagonists. Themes of freedom from fear. True love from anyone conquers ...

Re: Last DVD/Movie you bought or watched?
Never seen The Departed , but I thought Infernal Affairs was a pretty good movie. I recognized many of the Chinese actors but I can't say where I have seen them. Andy Lau is a singer-actor from Hong Kong. Outside of East Asia, I doubt he is well known but Tony Leung Chiu Wai is better known...

Re: Rigor Mortis
OK managed to catch this.
A very rare gem of a movie from HK. Like the old vampire movies in the 1980s but much more dark. The ending is very apt as well if you understand the motivation for it from the beginning.

I'm infected with nostalgia. Damn you Jay Chou for resurrecting Teresa Teng digitally to do a duet with you!
FYI, this is the digital performance.
She died in 1995.

Nostalgia. This is the word that describes it. Since Jay Chou resurrected her digitally, Teresa Teng's pristine, sweet yet sad vocals and face was on my mind. Walked by a store and saw this DVD selling for a measely SGD3.00. I promptly bought it to watch in one sitting. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0...

Star Trek: Into Darkness
Good movie. Really like a reimagining of WOK.
After this it was Oblivion. Yes that is two in a day. One of the better Sci fi movies this year as well. The OST is beautiful.
