Re: One More Month
I've said this countless times, but I truly love both films What I feel is even more important than which movie we prefer is the love of the story. In my opinion, each film respectfully presents an interpretation of JAL's novel, but it all comes down to the story which (IMO), at a low level, is bas...

Re: Let Me In Crossroads#1 Comic Reviews
As a huge fan of John's work, Let Me In was the movie that handed me my rabid infection. I picked up Crossroads yesterday and read it last night. My thoughts: the jury is still out. I admit that issue one seems to be just setting up for multiple plot possibilities, but at this point, I'm not liking ...

Thanks! After I finish the next section, I'll look into submitting it for our site here.Wolfchild wrote:Of course. LMI Fan Art, too.Naitouk wrote:Will our little infected community here accept LMI fics on this site? I'd love to put mine up here too.

Re: Problem with the ending.
The reason that Reeves ended LMI the way he did is, most probably, that he wanted to remain faithful to the source material (or, at least, reasonably faithful). Of course, that didn't stop him from changing "the Father" into a completely different character from Hakan. And I will say, eschelp, that...

Re: Maybe we should be more welcoming of LMI fans?
It is really good to see more LMI fans here. I realize that many here may not care for LMI, and I completely respect that opinion. I personally love both LMI and LTROI, and my infection is a combination of the two of them (on the same night, actually!). With that in mind, LMI will always be my "firs...

Re: Slightly OT: The laugh fest that is IMDB
I'm avoiding the Let Me In imdb board at this point, mainly because it doesn't really seem to have an atmosphere conducive to good discussion any more. There are some posters over there, both supporters and detractors of the film, that I can't stand. Well said. The truly horrifying thought is that ...

Re: Comparison - but which did you see FIRST?
Which brings me to the question: when you've seen both movies, which did you like better, and why? But, more importantly, if you've seen both movies and have a preference, which did you see first ? And, are you an American (or, for that matter, a Canuckian), and are you under or over the age of, oh...

Re: I love this line.
I'm going to pitch in with couple of lines of dialogue between Tommy and Eli in the basement. Eli is attemping to buy some blood from Tommy, he isn't taking her seriously. "How about if I give you... three now. And two after?" "Yeah, sure. But I could just jump you and take the money anyway, don't ...
