Re: Let Me In Crossroads#1 Comic Reviews
I still don't know how I feel about the idea of this project. It seems interesting but I can't help but think that it isn't Abby. Abby is a product of Eli who is a product of JAL. JAL hates this idea so I feel like this comic is just a slap in his face. Reeves took plenty of liberties with LMI but J...

Re: Was Abby a girl?
After endlessly debating this in multiple forums I've found that the majority of people interpreted Abby as being born a girl. Those who think otherwise are usually LTROI fans who do not appreciate the liberties Reeves' has taken and therefor will not acknowledge them as legitimate plot changes.

Re: US DVD/Blu-ray cover
the UK cover is far better. If I were in a video store saw the American cover I probably wouldn't give the movie a moments thought.

Re: Is LMI really a coming of age story?
That's one thing I noticed in LMI, that is had a "False Final." I didn't expect for Abby to come back and slaughter the bullies that were trying to drown him. In my opinion, LMI would be coming of age story like LTROI. If there was one thing that I didn't like about LMI is the fact that we don't se...

Re: Maybe we should be more welcoming of LMI fans?
It's amazing to see others infected by Let Me In! For a long time I thought I was the only nerd who loved the re-make more than LTROI. I was so impatient for the DVD release I ended up seeing the movie 5 times before they ripped it out of our theaters (which did not take too long...). It is not easy...

Re: Comic book - The sequel
I'm not going to lie I most likely will read the comic however I find this entire situation incredibily disrespectful to JAL. It just goes to show you how over the top legal jargon is nowadays that the author of the source material would have no say in a spin-off series. Poor form.

Re: Deleted scene online
This was one of my favorite scenes of the movie and I am very upset is was let out but I understand completely. Reeves said it would have disrupted the flow of the bleeding scene which I agree. The first time I saw LMI the scene where Abby bleeds in Owens apartment had a huge impact on me. The trust...

Re: Reason for movie
One thing for sure is that Hakan was definitely not portrayed as a pedophile. It wasn't even hinted at.. Then why did Hakan ask Eli not to hang around Oskar? Why did he close his eyes when Eli touched his cheek? No he didnt say "Im a pedophile" but he also didnt say "remember you and me when we wer...

Re: I got ask---did you see Eli as Evil Incarnate?
I never got that Abby was evil. She was manipulative but even on my first viewing I thought that she loved Owen. As I've said before here I think she needed him because she loved him, not the other way around. She was watching over him after she left to make sure he was okay, she never did that for ...
