Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy discussed on my local radio

I was listening to my community public radio station this morning, and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy was the topic--cool!

The guest is film critic Jim Emerson.

The episode is archived here.

Anyone living near Boulder Colorado can catch the screening and analysis at Colorado University.

Re: Maggie Kay's Horror Blog LTROI feature

I feel kind of privileged, in a way, that I got to see LTROI at the theater for the first time, in its first run through the art-theaters in the US, made its way to my city in the fall of 2008, I think. Re: So Why Is It That Flora... (spoilers)

JAL explains Flora's vision of Death to us himself: For me death is a wolf , Peter thought and Flora realized that something she had thought was o...

Re: Oskar's bullies

Wolfchild's alpha male comment made me think of Lord of the Flies, the power struggle on the island. Golding's story also has a Piggy, although he's much different than Oskar.

Also, she of her own volition completely abdicated responsibility to Oskar's useless father (was that the best she could do? it m...
