Re: Last book(s) you read?
Well, the last book I read was "Dearly Devoted Dexter" by Jeff Lindsay. I'm currently reading "Shutter Island" by Dennis Lehane and "Fingersmith" by Sarah Waters (yeah I sometimes read several books at once :) ) I liked Fingersmith, I think non-heteronormative love stories (LTROI for example) are m...

Re: Anyone else think that the publisher went overboard with
Yeah I think they did. I think an author should be held up in their own light, you know? Not be compared to others who contribute to the writing community with ideas that are different from the other. I'm a fan of Stephen King but I certainly have not read any of JAL's novels because of him or what ...

Re: Wait... what??
This is probably well-known and I hope I don't sound like a know-it-all but sometimes they use stock-photos for books. I've heard they sometimes take an image from years prior, edit it a bit, and use it for their own --- whether it be permitted or not. It's like they assume, "Everyone's forgotten th...

Re: Is Female Villain from Kick Ass 2 Comic In the Movie?
Most likely. She'd probably be Red Mist's (wasn't sure if I was allowed to post his "updated" villain name) second-in-command, kinda like in the book, so she'll probably have a bigger role in it like in the graphic-novel.

Re: Last DVD/Movie you bought or watched?
I last watched --- well, I feel embarrassed to admit it, but I last watched "The Fantastic Mr. Fox" ... It was a cute movie and I absolutely love stop-motion, so, yeah, that's why I had to watch it. I'll probably be watching "The Haunting in Connecticut" this weekend. I've had it for like, several w...

Re: Would you recommend this book to a female?
(hey I'm new to the forum so please forgive me if I'm not in touch with anything on here.) I just finished reading the book a couple weeks ago, I'm female, and I have to say I absolutely loved the book! I don't remember there being anything "objectionable" to it concerning male or female; The librar...
