Re: Icelandic movie poster

Wow! That IS funny. It also looks to me like a short-story challenge:
Write a short story in which our Oskar and Eli could believably be in a scene like this. Further challenge for GK or anyone else up to the challenge: Make it the final scene in the story. :ugeek:

Let Me In (2010) Revisited

Here's yet another review of Let Me In. It's fairly comprehensive and presents Abby as 'not necessarily' being manipulative, at least in the Abby-Owen relationship.
If you can forgive the occasional but glaring grammatical errors, a nice re-review.

Re: Do you think Oskar might regret his decision in life?

The question presupposes that the urge to reconnect with his parents occurs after he's been turned. If that were the case, would it not be doubly cruel to them to know that not only did he abandon the parent-child relationship, but he's also chosen to become a blood-sucking monster? Parental love &...

Re: LTROI - Berkeley Repertory Theatre (Berkeley, California) - May/June 2023

@PeteMork, can you say anything about the audience reception? Were they familiar with the story? Any Eli or Oskar fans? Most of the audience behind and beside us were familiar with the original film, based on what we overheard. The family in front of us with several teenagers had no idea what it wa...
