Re: A&E Remaking 'Let the Right One In'
A reporter called me yesterday. That was the first time I heard about this project. I just heard about this today. I already had my concerns, and hearing that the author of the source material himself hadn't heard about it furthers my concerns. Also, I'm not a fan of Bates Motel (Farmiga and Highmo...

Re: In which part we do find out about Eli?
Personally, I see Eli identifying as non-binary, with a preference to feminine pronouns. It's how I write her, in any case.

Re: Elias' home
That's very cool, thanks for sharing. I wonder why the doors are so low? I think I would get claustrophobic if I had to duck in the doorway every time I went in or out. Well, I can't say for certain regarding houses in Sweden around that time, but there's a historical museum near where I live with ...

Re: Seasons greeting no.5
Though I am not exactly an active member here and more pop in when I'm able to, I can say with certainty that it's always such a treat whenever you post, sir! Actually I just finished a new vampire story a few days ago. I was asked to write one for an american anthology and I declined, as I always d...

Re: Virtual Book Club Idea
I'm planning on a full re-read-through very soon, so I'm hoping that I will be able to put up my own views on certain parts. However, there's one thing I want to put up now. I don't know if it's been brought up before, but I've found an anachronism. It's mentioned in the prose that Oskar has some of...

Re: I saw it yesterday!
So did the dance number seemed out of place or did it fit well within play's storyline? The dance at the pool scene worked well, I think. The dance during Oskar stabbing the tree did not. Again, just my opinion and I may just be a philistine who doesn't understand interpretive dance and it could ha...

I saw it yesterday!
So, as I mentioned in a thread earlier, I saw the play yesterday in the Royal Court Theatre in London. Overall, I enjoyed it immensely and would highly recommend it to anyone who's a fan of the book and/or movie(s). It was a good blend of material from each of them, but also including it's own stuff...

Re: New LTROI production in London
I definitely will! I've heard really good things about it and how it includes a lot more from the book that wasn't in either movie, so I'm really excited!

Re: What changes does the infection cause?
Well, changes to the digestive system ARE made, I think, since blood is the only food source vampires have in LTROI.Swaefheard wrote:It would only be necessary for a vampire to have the universal recipient blood group if blood was transferred, vein to vein, or the infection caused changes to the digestive system.
