Re: You just became a vampire, what's your next move?

"forcefully turned" God, those are two words I do not like together. It makes me sick. If I were turned, right now? Let's just say that no one will know I am a vampire... I wouldn't mind being the 'Vampire Batman' of my city. Killing those who I think are unfit to live. I would be a ...

Re: Which other actors would make a great Eli?

@Makalli
I agree. :D

Overall, I think choosing another Eli would be difficult, but if it had to be done then the process should be the same as the 1st one. Go through hundreds of kids, and not just choose for looks but the aura of the actor/actress and what they will bring to the role like Lina did.

Re: You KNOW you've seen the movie too many times when...

You tell your crush "you smell kinda funny" hoping it might lead to something else.  How cute! I'll be in the background cheering anybody on if they actually do this. when... - You wouldn't mind having a few 3-4 copies of the same book/dvd. - When someone is bullying a friend tell them, ...

Re: When Eli becomes a boy

I prefer to call Eli nothing. Gender isn't that important to me, anyways. It's not that hard to describe Eli as genderless, or a boy. It's who he is, but I prefer to use "she" because behind the term I'm referring to Eli as vulnerable, sensitive, beautiful. It's how I see her. It's how I see girls. ...

Re: New LTROI tattoo!

Man, I already lost the game before reading the whole thread. I read the fb comments. -sigh- Cool tattoo. This must have taken real courage. Congratulations, man! How long did it take to get it done? How much did you pay? Are you going to get more? Someone should dedicate their body with L...

Re: I Love Eli!

I was thinking, "Poor Oskar. There is no thread for you." Maybe, I shall start one? but then feel bad about Hakan, so make one for him, then Virginia, then Lacke... etc. so on and so forth.

I do feel that your statements are true. That Eli is more alone (from the start) than Oskar ever was.

Re: Would you donate blood to Eli

I'm anemic, and my body's not really that healthy, so Eli might not like the taste of my blood.
My blood would probably kill her. I wouldn't risk that.

I could get other people to donate blood for her.

Re: That awkward moment when you're watching the movie and..

@nightrider: hahaha "gateway drug" Books-- stronger than drugs. I don't know if this is awkward (maybe for my roommate), but it did scare me. My roommate came home late one night and I didn't noticed he was watching the movie with me (standing behind me). I was sitting very quietly in my room with t...

Re: Vampire Mythology in the novel.

@a_contemplative_life That's disturbing... I heard someone mentioned girls cycles attract bears. lol I agree with J.J. Though, it must take a large amount of energy to transform. Oskar turning would be easier for him, because he has Eli as a "vampire mentor." @intrige's post I aww'd so loud.
