Not in the descriptions I read.dongregg wrote:Yep, the idea of an isolated and bullied boy hooking up with an even more isolated vampire his age won't be part of the plot.

Re: A short review.
Just finished a long short story, "The Keeper´s Companion" which deals quite a lot with the Call of Cthulhu roleplaying game. !!! My son plays those pretty religiously. I've translated that first sentence for the linguistically challenged, since Google Translate did such a poor job at it: The fall ...

Re: New update on the show
I wonder why the news of the stage production got a warm reception right off the bat, while this TV adaption has instantly caused the knives to come out? Two words: "American" and "TV." All the same the ideal would be an HBO mini-series based on the novel, or any one of the other Lindqvist ...

Re: A&E Remaking 'Let the Right One In'
My exact worry. Only because if they were to film, say, any given episode's outdoor establishing shots around a known village, they might need some extras on the set. And if this film site was not too far up into Vermont, whose to say a couple of those extras might accidentally be wearing matching ...

Re: A&E Remaking 'Let the Right One In'
I wonder whether they will base parts of the production in a small Vermont town. Or whether they will simply film the entire thing on a Hollywood sound stage. I was thinking they would probably shoot in some other small town, in Canada let's say, and then add a few exterior shots for local color. T...

Re: A&E Remaking 'Let the Right One In'
But what will kill all hope is pointed out by BravoHotel - actors will way too old for the roles - think Judy Garland as Dorothy Gale, or Dominique Swain as Lolita -epic fails. What the . . .? Judy Garland as Dorothy Gale was an epic fail for you, but not for me. ;) More better: Mary Martin...

Re: A&E Remaking 'Let the Right One In'
Well, anyway . . . I for one would love to see a mini-series based on the novel . I like even better that it would be set in Vermont, but not the way it is being done here. From the early signals it sounds like a tv series based on Let Me In (maybe). My fear is that you would wind up with som...

Re: Little Great Ending [spoilers]
So there is a Border screenplay? I would love to see a film version too.
