After reading Let The Old Dream Die, I just have to say JAL did a good job of writting this epilogue to Let The Right One In. However it does confirm what I believe would become of Eli and Oskar's relationship.

Let The Old Dreams Die will be a short story, which entales what happens to Eli and Oscar after the get off the train. So yeah, you could call it a sequal. It will be published in the collection of short stories "Paper Walls", I have not idea when it will be released in English.
