This was a fascinating video to watch. Extremely unique perspective on the dynamics involved. While I think that "sexuality" may be placing their particular feelings/emotions into a bit of a box, I think it is a good term for a lack of a more accurate one. Overall, it was deeply thought-provoking.

Re: Should Oskar have been heavier?

Sometimes, secondary to overall body image is the attractiveness of a person's face. (For some, the face is primary.) Jeremy has a rather friendly face, so I don't think this would have taken away from the character of Oskar. After appearance I suppose would be the talent of the actor to command the...

Re: "Stranger Things"

The unexpected success of this series will not only cause its continuation but might also be seen by A&E as a good indicator that they could get similar traction if they move on their 'LTROI'-based show. Copycat is not uncommon between show producers. Surely A&E has taken notice of this surprise hi...

Re: "Stranger Things"

Sorry, after looking, it not a quote, just a reference. After the whole incident, right where it goes to hopper attending the Christmas party, there is a newspaper clipping with Will's photo. At the bottom of that article is says "Brenner has issued no comment on..." But that could just be the DOE f...

Re: "Stranger Things"

Thanks to Bloody Mary for pointing me towards this thread! To answer BM's question from the other thread, "confirmed" might have been the wrong word. But there is every indication that all parties involved (actors, creators, Netflix) want a second season to happen, so the probability is high enough ...

Re: Last DVD/Movie you bought or watched?

Hello fellow infected! So I binge-watched this new Netflix exclusive called "Stranger Things". Lots of parallels to Eli / Oscar, which is why I mention it here. This is the second piece of film that has hit with a huge impact and "infected" as we say, where it stayed with and haunted me. I can only ...

Well of Eternity and Demon Soul
The first two books in the War of the Ancients series set in the Warcraft universe. Fun reads if you're into the games.

Re: Last book(s) you read?

The Child Thief by Brom

It's a dark take on the Peter Pan story, a bit pagan at times, reminiscent of Lewis.
A fairly good book, nice descriptions. Last third is :o
Recommended for an easy, fun read.
