Re: LET THE RIGHT ONE IN on NEW YORK STAGE!

I saw this last night and it was great! The actors were all fantastic and any concerns about quality were dispelled in the opening sequences. Of course they couldn't include everything, but in my opinion they made it work overall. http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n185/Difd3frog/Mobile%20Uploads/Ph...

For those who have read the play

What original choices (not from the book or films) worked best? Which scenes would you like to have seen included? One thing that I found interesting was the nod to the Swedish film when Jimmy remarks that although Oskar is called piggy, he isn't fat. However, I was a little disappointed in the lack...

Re: Fantasy Soundtrack for 'Little Star' movie

I can't really contribute much to this because I know very little about Swedish music. Now for an American translation I have hundreds of ideas! ABBA would be a must for the soundtrack regardless of where it's made or released! Even if 80% of the film's budget was spent on getting the rights to one...

Re: quick question

I would have to say page 349 to 350, the note Eli left for Oskar revealed how empty Eli's existance had been before s/he met Oskar. Yes, Eli left some very poignant notes for Oskar. You get the impression that she is right on the verge of using the "L" word, but is afraid to; perhaps she feared it ...

Re: LTROI For Dummies

I don't see why Eli and Oskar (or Owen and Abby) aren't connected by the bond of friendship that is tightened by their correlating circumstances. Friendship can be equal to love... can't it?

Re: A Very Boring Film

How was A Separation boring? As much as I like TTSS, I do realize the plot is set at a different rate that usually would drag down other movies. But A Separation was pretty short, wasn't it?

Re: There is NO other way to say it...I too HATED this movie

I think. Abby´s hair not black was no coincidence. Reeves had to deal not only with "art" doing his movie but also with "LOTROI" Significant differences are allways part of US remakes. I think the intention is simple, to avoid confusion by casual viewers. Like . "That DVD you should buy is with blo...

Re: Is it possible to look like Eli? *(book vers.)

Eli's eye probably aren't really black, I think it's the enlargement of his pupils.
