Re: Why not a fat Oskar?
Yeah, like intrige said, Kåre was the man... erm... boy for the job, fat or not. They couldn't really tell the poor kid to pork out and gain twice his weight before they began filming the movie, now could they? ;) I admit, I would have enjoyed a fat, or at least fatter, Oskar. But at the same time I...

Re: Is it just me?
Woah, am I the only one here who thought the "clicking" was kinda cute? I mean, yes, Oskar was being mean, but it was childishly so. He had no idea what the consequences of it would be. Oskar is being a brat, daring her in this childish & immature manner to enter. Problem is he is also hoping to ver...

Re: How long will we stay infected?
I feel like my infection, just like a lot of other things I'm a fan of, comes and goes. I get long periods of really fangirling over LtROI, perhaps for a couple of months or so. Then it dies off for a while and, while I wouldn't say I forget about it, I don't get myself so involved with it much anym...

Re: Let Me In - First Comic Preview
Wow, I had no idea they made a comic out of it. The only thing I can think about it is, sadly: Why couldn't it have been based on the original movie!? D: Dark Horse wanted to do LTROI originally, plus the further adventures of Oskar & Eli, but Hammer convinced them to do LMI. Aw, really? That makes...

Re: Slow Film
I think this is the kind of movie that only works really well for people who manage to get caught by the feel of it. When I watched it, I never once thought of it as slow. Quite the opposite, I carried a certain "please keep going, don't end yet" feeling that I only have with movies I really like. I...

Re: Bits better than the book
I know a lot of people will proabably disagree with me on this, but I actually like the entire movie more than the book.
Don't get me wrong, I love the book, I really do. I just like the movie a bit more.

Re: Awesome, but not so much
Wow, love that cover. Very mysterious.
But it does feel a bit... I don't know, unrelated to the movie itself without having it's main focus, Eli and Oskar, somewhere on it.
Still, I really like it. <3

Don't remember crying at any part, but I was often filled with this kind of feeling.

Re: Where is Oskar headed at the start?
What Ingenting-ing said. I also recognize Oskar's brutal fantasies. I certainly had a few heavy periods in my life where I fantasized about similar sick things, although Oskar did take things a bit further, such as stabbing trees and collecting murder stories. But yeah, it's all fantasy, a way to de...
