Re: Seasons greeting no.10
It's really hard not to make good songs with Marr's really nice chord progressions and riffs tbh, he's such a good foundation for all the bands he's been on.
Really excited about the Title John, it says so much. Leaves a lot of room to hypothesize. Keep up the great work.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7hEdK47zLM Alt-J - Dancing in the Moonlight cover (originally by Thin Lizzy) Really good song by a really good band. fits in well with Let The Right One In also in my opinion. :D Lyrics: Well I passed you in the doorway And you took me with a glance Should have been ...

Re: Songs that make you think of Oskar & Eli
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6tZLVoAQnM Wild Nothing - Chinatown The lyrics remind me of the movie, not to mention they have a song called Take Me In that relates to the movie really well and seems like its has an 80s style. Lyrics: Innocent love, I need someone somewhere I need some way to come...

Re: A funny way to read the novel.
I think it's a great idea. Only thing is you'd have to read the book like you said a couple times so you get the context of each characters situation. For example when Oskar' s mom scolds him you'll understand why.
Very good technique though if you want to go in depth. Might try it later.

Re: Seasons greeting no.10
I would easily welcome that name. Morrissey is great, and Johnny Marr is my favorite guitarist from the smiths apart from Jonny Greenwood. Although if it is a different name I wouldn't be much surprised either. I'd love it either way.

Re: Interesting Article about the influence of LtROI
John Ajvide said recently in an interview that in Sweden there hadn't been any popular horror films/books for about 70 years, even though Sweden invites a lot of horror around their culture. That's when LTROI was made.

Re: Songs that make you think of Oskar & Eli
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPXNoKAUPBk Radiohead - Glass eyes I love Radiohead, and now that it I recently have watched and read LTROI this really reminds me of the bittersweet scene on the train. Lyrics: Hey it's me I just got off the train A frightening place The faces are concrete grey And I...
