Abby is different than Eli. I forget the LMI version of Hakan's name but she just uses people. The photos of her and her caretaker when he was young just show that's her plans for Owen.

To me it seemed a little forced. We know it happens but to make sure it happens doesn't seem right to me. It was his last stand, but he seemed way too eager to use it.

I hope for some writers they do dream. I've read a lot of fan fics that consist of a lot of them...

Too bad they couldn't run it past us. We'd let them know for a fact if it would fly or not. Though I doubt it would...

I'm pretty sure everyone noticed that TA had Håkan fail in the movie rather than succeed in the book just to avoid the whole pedophile scenario.

First of all, I love Little Star, but I don't think Lina is a good fit. Too old, too pretty and too likable. Neither of the girls are older than 14 by the end of the book.

I think the only way people (especially Americans) could accept Håkon as a pedo would be to add his back story. And i believe TA was really trying to shorten the story as much as possible. I read somewhere that when they approached JAL with the idea of making it into a movie he thought it would have...

Flash in the night could refer to Eli braking though the glass and killing the bullies...

If you go by the English sub it's just the weather. I'm sure it's not word for word with the Swedish version.
