One day as I was cleaning up some old files from some of our clients a thick book fell from one of the shelves. It had a black cover. It said:
'Eli's hidden super super secret diary that not even Oskar knows about'
I took a pick. Hey most of the pages were about me! So I decided to read from the beginning.
Entry one:
That day...
Entry One:
What can I say? Oskar is cute. He melted my heart when he told me:
"Let me come with you."
After I had rescue him from those two at the school pool. But they wont be bothering anyone anymore. I was going to say goodbye to Oskar and travel by myself. Go back to my usual lonely life. Then he held my hands and looked at me and said:
"I want to be with you."
Then he embrace me. Then I knew that we would be together always.
So we pack our stuff put it in the trunk. Since the police was looking for Oskar he suggested that he should stay inside the trunk.
"Then when we are alone I can come out. Besides I have something important to ask you."
What was Oskar going to ask me? I could not wait! Train station here we come!
Entry two:
Traveling by night is fantastic. There are few people around. No one to bother us. I was pulling the trunk with Oskar inside. My dear Oskar inside. I was happy, smiling, was even in the mood to whistle one of my favorite tunes when that girl had to ruined everything! She ask if I needed help. No, I do not need your help! I want you to leave! My boyfriend is going to tell me something important!
So I stop and so did she. I sat on the trunk. And what did she do? Remain there instead of walking away! So I kept looking, looking looking looking at her! She knew I was. Surely she understood that I wish for her to leave! Then Oskar began to tap! I try to ignore it but he kept at it! Then that is when the nightmare begin!
Entry three:
That day! That day in which she came to steal Oskar from me! I try to ignore Oskar's tapping. Then then she got on the ground and tap to me! Using our special code! How dare she! Then before I knew it there she was talking to Oskar as if they were old friends. She tap to him and he he answer back! So that meant Oskar knew her! This Lucy! Oh how both were enjoying themselves with each tap they gave.
Tap tap tap tap...
I was going to put a stop to this!
So I gave her one of my glares...................
But she only continue to tap away! Then I moved closer and then she saw I meant business! She slowly moved. Then I gave Oskar what he deserved! My saying in all of this since he wanted to talk so much to her would leave them alone. So I open the trunk and left!
Interruption 1:
"Ha ha!" Reading Eli's diary was fun! She showed a side of her I had not seen.
"Lucy.."
It was Oskar! I quickly hid the diary under one of the paper files.
"Hey Oskar. I am organizing here."
"Do you need help?"
"No is ok."
So I pretended to sort out some files. Oskar kept standingthere.
"Well.."
"We need to talk."
Great. Ah well.
"Sure."
So Oskar begin his long speech.
"In a few days is going to be you know and I was wondering if you could ah well how I am nervous you know in a few day well I dont know how to say this Ah what am I doing I what I am trying to say is well I consider you ah ..."
"......."
On and on about what. What did Oskar want? I just wanted to continue to read the super secret diary!
"Is about well you know how in a few ..."
I held up my hand. This had to stop.
"What is going to happen?"
"Our anniversary."
"oh is Eli and y.."
"How can you forget! Is the day Eli and I met you!"
No way! I was included in this anniversary too!
No wonder they were always inviting me with them when that day came! I thought they felt that I would feel alone that day. So I told them to go and have fun but they always let me come. So that is why they took me along.
"You forgot."
"Of course not! I remember!"
"So can you help me with Eli's gift!"
"Sure sure. Just let me finish here."
So he left happily and I continue to read the super secret diary finally!
So I ran quickly so Oskar would not catch me. He will see! I hid by one of the trees and saw how he was calling my name. Then he looked sad.
"Eli I cared about you!" Then he left.
Those words maybe I was being too hard on him. Then I decided to go to buy some food for him. I climb one of the trees and I saw him sitting by the trunk. That girl was gone. I wanted to surprise Oskar as I came down from the tree but then then she returned!
And she and him begin to eat together! She had brought him a hot dog and then then they begin to play! I who thought he was sad! Here he was laughing and talking to her! When he took a bite of his hot dog she took a bite out of hers. I had enough and so I went down from the three. I was going to show them!
Oh they were going to do a pact! I could not believe it and I who had ask Oskar before and he had said no! But here he was ready! No wonder he wanted me to leave! Then she threw a snowball at me!
Ah I was so mad now that I could have shred them to pieces! But before that happened I ran away!
Then Oskar came looking for me. After a while I was not mad anymore at him. We stopped fighting. I was calm and relax. That girl was not there anymore. So together we left to get ready to leave. But if I saw her again ah! I was...
She was not going to take Oskar from me! Oskar is my boyfriend!
So we found a compartment just for the two of us! Oskar begin to tickle me! I tickled him back. We were laughing. It felt wonderful until until I heard that voice. It was her that Lucy. So Oskar did knew her after all. Of course he denied it when I confronted him. He was like go ask her. But I knew he had told her to come. But I played his game and went and ask her!
So I ask her if she knew Oskar but she kept pretending to be sleep! Ah she was ignoring me. So I begin to touch her lightly. Yes part of me wanted to break her in half but I was under control. So I continue and maybe like that I could make her laugh and then she would see. I almost got her to laugh when Oskar came worried and said that I could harm his Lucy. Lucy Lucy Lucy! It was all about her!
Always her! I was tired of hearing her name! Then she escaped! I was going to go after her! No way was going to let her take Oskar away from me!
Another interruption
As I continue to read Eli was standing right behind me.
"What are you doing?"
Before she could see the super secret diary I hid it under one of the piles.
"Eli I was.."
"Well.."
"I am arranging these old files."
"Really. Oskar said you had been here all day."
"Oh."
"I see a lot of files on the floor."
I was in trouble. How was I going to get out of this?
Think. Think. Think.
"Oskar ruined everything."
"What are you talking about?"
"Even after I told him not to."
"Well.."
I grabbed a bunch of blank papers.
"I was writing you a poem for next week. I had a gift for Oskar too but he could not wait."
"Really!"
"Yes for the anniversary! But now the suprise is ruined."
"And I.."
"I guess might as well read you the poem.."
I shuffle the papers and clear my throat. Come on words come out!
"To.."
"Don't read it! I will wait until next week!"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes."
I was saved.
"I'll leave you organizing the files." Eli winked at me.
"Just don't tell Oskar."
"I won't."
Eli left. Now back to reading that super secret diary!
I was so angry! I try to go after her but Oskar held me. Ah he gave me a big hug that all my anger melted away. He is just too cute when he looks at me like that. He assures me he does not know her. I believe him!
Then since Oskar is hungry we decide to go to the restaurant. But I forgot the money and go back to get it from the trunk. I tell Oskar to go and wait for me in the restaurant.
Then I am happily approaching the table were Oskar is sitting and and SHE IS THERE!! They are having dinner together! So that's why he looked so happy! I I sit down of course so I can witness how Oskar keeps lying. I am not going anywhere. He takes her out for dinner and he only offer me a candy for our first date! He is cheap! Then he begins to reclaim me too about the money! It was given to me.
Then she escapes but I go after her. I go into the kitchen to find her but then these people begin to hold me. I have to go after her. Let me go!
Ahh I left Oskar and went for a walk. I had to go outside or else I was going to go insane! This night was terrible! It was suppose to be just me and Oskar. Not Lucy ah how I cannot stand that girl! She keeps getting in my way! I needed to take some air so I went outside when I heard
"you are the only one I want to be with"
I could see the whole scene even though it was dark! Now Oskar was holding her hand and had given her my stuff! My bunny! She even had my bunny! Oh then he begin again wth his lies! Then again he knew I was not going to believe him this time until finally he admit it. That he liked her. As if I had not known that already! Then we begin to fight again. I left again. I was so angry now!
Then as I was walking I found her and she had being with Oskar! Oh she tried to make out this whole story that I did not buy! That she had being with Oscar and that his name had a 'c' not a 'k' in his name. Sure and that it was not her fault both had the same name. I was about to believe until Oskar came smiling to were we were. Oh his whole smiled faded when I put his whole lie out. That he was looking for me when he had being playing tick tack toe with her. I showed him the paper and he still denied it. I was getting more mad and then that girl left again. I went after her. I was going to make her pay!
I could not find her! Then I went back to the compartment and what I saw! Oskar was at it again! Playing with her! Tickling her! Then he said it thought it was me under that blanket! Sure like if he did not know who it was! But the worst part the worst part was that he had brought her flowers! He never brought me flowers! Only a piece of candy! I coul not take this anymore. And to finish me off he even wrote her a poem which I made her read. Hi she said when I pull out the blanket. Ha. After that I had another fight with Oskar and that girl got away again!
Then another interruption!
Oskar came storming in and a bunch of files fell over and landed on the super secret diary! Where was it?
Oskar had his arms folded. He kept gazing at me with his angry eyes! I kept looking for the diary.
"How could you Lucy!"
How could I? Did he know I had been reading the super secret diary uh oh!
"How could you do that!"
"Do what?"
He just kept stomping around with his feet. I kept looking for the diary. Finally he said. He said...
"What about me? Where is my gift?" Oskar even wiped a tear from his eye.
"I mean ... well.."
Eli told him even after I told her not to. As long as he does not find out about the super secret diary.
"that gift that I told Eli about was for you Oskar."
"It is!"
"I did it too calm Eli down. You know how she gets when she becomes angry." I whisper.
"I know."
I grabbed some blank papers.
"I wanted it to be a surprise but..."
So I was going to read when...
"Is ok. I will wait."
So Oskar left. He was whistling happily away.
Now where is that diary.
Now I had to write two poems. I could not believe it. Eli and Oskar could not keep a secret. Finally I found the super secret diary! Now I was ready to continue with my reading. No way were there going to be more interruptions since Eli and Oskar were out of the way. So I continued with my night time reading.
So then I continue to search for her! She was not going to get away! I ran to the hallway and suddenly the train stop and who did I see holding hands. Who? Who? Oskar and that girl! Oh they were probably on another date! And he lied again. I had to hold her hand or else she was going to fall down. But this time I was going to get her! But she manage to get away through the window! And the train had stopped. I will find that Lucy and then she will see!
So I went outside to search for her but I could not find her. Maybe she was inside the train so I checked. I found a letter from Oskar. It said to meet him by the swings that when I got there everything would become clear. Maybe he was going to apologize and give me a gift. I rush to the swings but when I got there. Things became clear all right!
There he was showing off his trick to her while she clap her hands. So I finally knew! Finally things were clear!
Oh and she brought him some gummy bananas that he gladly ate in one bite! Then I begin to chase her. I almost had her by the slide but she went to the monkey bars. Then she told me Oskar was not her type. Ha! And Oskar look sad when she said that! That her type was someone that would saved her and then he did when she threw herself he gladly extended his arms and when to her rescue. And then she admitted she liked him and then then she kissed him on the cheek and he he did nothing. I was so mad. No one kisses Oskar but me. I ran ran after her. Oskar is mine!
I went back to the train but she was not there. Where had she gone? I was so mad. She always gets away!
I took a little break. Wow Eli did really love Oskar a lot. It was funny to remember those events. Though I had been really close to dying if Eli had captured me! Lucky for me she never caught me!
Where did she go? I was walking by the hallway when I met Abby. She ask me what I was doing. I told her. She said she was traveling on the train with her companion Owen. I told her she should be very careful with that Lucy girl since she liked to steal boyfriends! She was a boyfriend thief! We then went back to meet Owen. We open the door to the compartment and the scene we saw!
Lucy, Oskar, and Owen were playing together! She had done it she had stolen Owen too. Then then I saw her right hand and she had a ring! Did Oskar give it to her! After they saw me and Abby they became nervous. Because of her Abby and Owen fought. But then I had to know who gave her the ring. It was not Owen he had no ring. So it was Oskar I saw how he was hiding his hands. There he had a ring too. Then he began to lie again. Said the ring was for me and that Lucy was only trying it on. What a lie. I di not believe him. It was all clear. Lucy was his new girlfriend and to make it official he gave her a ring. While I got nothing. Only a piece of paper with the Morse code and a stolen Rubik's cube. But she was not going to have Oskar. No she was not. Then she vanish again grgrgr So me and Abby split up and went in search of the boyfriend thief.
The the lights went out as I search for her ggrgrgr and what did I encounter when the lights went back on Oskar in his knees proposing to her. Again he said he thought it was me ha ha. And then he wrote her another poem and finally admit it that he liked her and and recited another poem for her and this time even Owen was a part of it. She had stolen him too.
The she finally admit to me that she liked Oskar and when they grew up they were going to get married and invite me to their wedding! Never Never! But before that happened I was going to make her pay! So I chased after her again but I could not captured her. She was gone again grgrgr
Then Oskar apologized and we stop fighting. He said the only one he loved was me. I believe him. So we went to sit by the restaurant and everything was lovely until she showed up with Owen. Oskar kept looking at her the whole time! And then Owen stood on the table and proclaimed his love for that Lucy! Then Oskar confess that he liked her and then he was denying it. Abby saw everything and Owen did not cared. Abby then came to sit with us so she could see the whole show. Then that Lucy looked at Oskar several times and then she hit the waiter and the lasagna fell on me and Abby. She was going to pay. So me and Abby grabbed some plates of food and threw it at her. But but who was there. It was Owen and Oskar to her rescue. Then then she fled again. But this time she was not going to get away!
Finally I caught up with her! And she threaten that she was going to jump off the train. Sure sure! But she she did! When the train stop all we found was her jacket and shoes. Then that spiky hair girl name Alice explain that it had all been those two guys who were to blame. She showed us the visions of all the things that had occur. And it did not matter anymore. I was sad. Lucy was gone and I could not apologized to her anymore. I even sort of like her and miss her. We could have been friends. Abby and Owen said goodbye to us. It was just Oskar and me again.
Then that man try to interrupt our pact. It sort of reminded me of Lucy. How I wish... Then suddenly someone was tapping from the trunk. Could it be? It was. Lucy was alive! Me and Oskar were so happy that we gave her lots of hugs. Uh-oh Lucy was infected too. I thought she would be worried. But she was not. We had a new friend. She was happy!
The End.
This could not be the end! Where was the rest? But it was! That was the last page. It could not be. Then hey! Among the paper scattered around there was a blue book. Ah ha! It said:
'Oskar's hidden store away yes a boy can have a diary too. That not even Eli knows about."
Ha ha more fun time reading for me!
