PART TWO

Chapter 2: On Edge

The Hideout

Oskar and Eli leave the courtyard and move across the irregular terrain of the nature preserve. As they move through the dark forest, they tune their eyes and ears for other presences. The few words they speak are so hushed that only they can hear them.

This is the English translation of the Swedish original. If you read Swedish, I recommend the original.

This ff contains spoilers for Let The Old Dreams Die. If you want to stay unspoiled, keep away...

I've attached a PDF version, which I think gives a better reading experience.

This piece of fan fiction is based on John Ajvide Lindqvist’s novel Låt den rätte komma in and short story Let the old dreams die. Features that have been fetched from the novel and short story are his work; however, he is in no way to be held responsible for the work below.

This is the Swedish original. If you don't read Swedish, there is an English translation as well.

Oslo, Juletid 2010

I got a short and sweet 'Tack!' in my email after the prior postings along with this additional photo. Well also another, which I'll post next. The text that came with this says they were in Oslo over Christmas. Sort of hard to prove or disprove but I am not surprised to see they got each other toys for the holiday.... Now there's a surprise! NOT

I see a couple dala horses in there and some Wii remotes and lot of Playmobil. I wonder what area toy shoppe got raided!

This too from Oskar. Says they're moving on soon. He's been itching to see Trondheim next, thus he's been needling Eli with that Norwegian flag for days now. But she gets right back him with that pointy Eiffel tower that they got a while ago while visiting Paris. Such travelers!

As for the little woofy, I dunno the story. Might be an addition solely with the intent of helping this picture get passed the moderators.... Hmmm. (Oskar is a pretty clever kid!)
